On Saturday I visited the local museum. I think the last time I was there was over ten years ago. Some things are exactly as I remember them. For instance, there are lots of arrowheads and other Indian artifacts. Some things are quite different. They didn't used to have live animals (an iguana, a large snake, and poison dart frogs) and they didn't used to have fossils, even in replica form. The most impressive display hasn't been completed yet, but it's going to be a complete replica of a wooly mammoth skeleton. Right now there's just the skull and a leg.

Saturday evening I went with my parents to the last showing of Macbeth in the CSI fine arts building. It was a decent rendition; my biggest regret was that they didn't have a better actor playing the heir to the throne. He enunciated well, but gave no appropriate inflection. This showed up strongly when he had dialogue with Macduff, who was a very good actor. The witches were quite skilled at their evil cackling.

I've started a new blog for my comic strip. I'd been posting it on a private forum, but this way it will be more accessible. The address is www.stickromancer.blogspot.com, which I will add to the links on this page. I guess this would be a good time to make clear that "stickromancer" is a pun on the word "necromancer" and the fact that I'm using stick figures. It is not a reference to someone who woos sticks.

Comments:
You mean it's not "Stick it to the Roman Sea" ???? *deletes most of the question marks and aimlessly types about it*

Hey--- Jackie and I went out to C.S.I.
this week and we too really enjoyed seeing all the things. Well..to be
truthful..I was not excited about the snake part. Wouldn't care for a squeeze from that one :)! Been a very long time since grpa and I went to visit there. The displays have changed of course.

Did you get to see the spherical, mathematically inspired art? I know the display was replaced recently, but I hope you got to see it.

"The witches were quite skilled at their evil cackling."

I'm not sure why, but I laughed quite hard at this line.

Also, thank you for introducing me to the Combine. I'm now with Endara Mining Corp.

There was some art there; I'm not sure if the piece you're talking about was there.
