5*7*43

I just made a post about a strange dream on my other blog that you probably thought I had abandoned.

Comments:
You are correct, I did think you had abandoned that blog. In fact I'd forgotten about it. I just added it to Google Reader so I'll not miss any more posts there.

Since you no longer seem to get messages at the Forge, here's a video clip that might be useful (there's a 15 second commercial first).

Brief summary in case your connection is too slow:

Useful tools: Adjustable wrench, shower valve socket wrench, screwdriver, easy-out (if the wrench won't fit)

(1) Shut off the water source.
(2) Remove the faucet handle.
(3) Remove the exposed connections using a wrench.
(4) Use a shower valve socket wrench to get back into the enclosed space and remove the 'stems'
(5) Check for corrosion and see if the washers are still in good shape.
(6) You may need to replace everything if there's corrosion, or possibly just the washers if not.

You'll probably want either plumber's tape or thread sealer on hand, to make the threads water tight when you reconnect everything.
