This is an update, then.

I have two jobs now. During the day I work at a paint store, and in the evenings I'm a delivery driver for Mandarin House. I also have a car now. It's a 1995 Dodge Intrepid. I also have an apartment now. It's got two bedrooms and I'm looking for a roommate.

Tonight was a slow delivery night. Jack thought it would be very busy so he scheduled all three drivers. I would have been somewhat busy for a short time with two. With three it was very laid back. Not a good tip night. I did get to leave forty minutes early.

It was weird to see the new cook chopping vegetables. It's weird to see a white guy doing anything on that side of the kitchen. Actually, it's weird to see a white guy who's not Russian or Bosnian anywhere in the kitchen. I used to be the only one.

I don't go back to Kelly-Moore until Tuesday. So it's a three-day weekend for that job. Business is very slow there because it's winter, but we've had plenty to do rearranging the store.

I'd be hanging out with the family instead of typing this, but they're all playing poker, and I didn't get off work soon enough to join in.

Speaking of poker, it's been a long time since I've seen a Next Generation episode.

Comments:
It's nice that you have a car. I'm afraid I'll be spending much of this week searching for one.

Spike TV (formerly TNN) shows Star Trek TNG and DS9 reruns in the afternoon. Or, they did this summer. Presumably they still do. :^)

Oh, those TNG poker games were great. I liked the one in the time loop episode where Data rigged the cards unconsciously to send himself the clue.

It souunds like you are doing well, it was a good call to get an Intrepid rather than the new Dodge Charger, I had one as a rental car over the weekend. I didn't like it. It dropped the tranny on the freeway, and I hadn't even had a chance to do break stands or hotrodding before it broke.
