Last night was the first Crossroads (college group) meeting. Dan is taking over leading it, but Brad is still leading the music. It was just an introduction to what we do there and that sort of thing. There were a lot of newcomers; I counted 42 people in the room total.

I don't think that math guy answered your question very well. His church sends pastors to the Shepherd's conference every year and a number of their college students have gone to TMC. I suspect that they might have gotten the idea from there. However, perhaps they just thought it was a great name, and don't even know such a group exists elsewhere. Anyway...I thought you deserved a larger answer : )
